The Nations Baseball South Zone State Tournament promises to be a great tournament -- lots of fun and competition.  So that the tournament is enjoyable for everyone, please adhere to the following rules:


1.  Pets are NOT allowed in the baseball complex.  Your pets are much better off at home; not out in the heat

.
2.  We will provide ice, water and cups in the dugouts for the players and coaches.  While you may bring a small cooler with cool cloths, medicine and/or baby items, NO OTHER COOLERS ARE ALLOWED IN THE BASEBALL COMPLEX -- please leave the coolers in your vehicles.   The concession stands will be open for the duration of the tournament and we will have plenty of good food, including hamburgers, hotdogs, Chick-fil-a sandwiches and ice-cold drinks.


3.  No artificial noise makers are allowed -- everyone wants to enjoy the game.


4.  We will have a limited supply of commemorative 2009 Nations South Zone t-shirts (team names are printed on the back) available for $15 each at the concession stands.  We usually sell-out, so plan to get yours early.


5.  The weather forecast is for very hot, dry weather.  Our bleachers are covered, but you may bring "pop-up" canopies if you'd like.  According to the "experts," being well-hydrated the day before planned outdoor activities is essential.  Please make sure your teams drink plenty of fluids the day before they play and, of course, stay hydrated during the tournament.  Also, apply liberal amounts of sunscreen to the players, coaches and fans.

If you plan on mailing a check, please send it to HBA, P.O. Box 3936, Humble, TX 77347. 

 

Tournament Fees:  $425 5U-8U, $500 9U-14U (all tournaments except for State)

Humble Baseball Tournament Refund Policy

You may cancel your entry in a tournament up to 14 days before the tournament and receive a full refund.  If you cancel, giving us less than 14 days notice, you will only receive a refund if we find a team to replace your spot. 

If we do not find a team to replace your spot, you will receive no refund.

If, due to rain during a tournament, you play:

0 games - Full Refund

1 game - 2/3 of of total paid is refunded

2 games - 1/3 of total paid is refunded

3 games - No refund


Coaches: For all HBA tournaments you must:
  1)  Check in 1 hour prior to game time
  2)  Provide roster
  3)  Provide proof of insurance
  4)  Provide payment if not already received
